14 – 19 September 2020
Hosted by Alzheimers’ SA Gauteng
Whether you walk a few km with friends or tackle a mountain, every cent you raise will ensure that we continue rendering our services to persons living with Alzheimers and their families in Gauteng, irrespective of race, gender, religious orientation or financial standing.
MemoryCare is a multidisciplinary healthcare practice.
We pride ourselves on our uniquely systemic and collaborative approach to diagnosis, treatment and care planning for individuals and families who experience a variety of mental healthcare challenges.
We pride ourselves on offering high-quality, person-centered and outcomes-focused services that help people move on in their lives.
We are passionate about understanding and helping emotional needs within a systemic framework using the latest evidenced-based, therapies within a multidisciplinary team.
We assess physical and cognitive function in the clinic and in the patient’s home as part of a needs-led assessment that includes a driving and falls analysis.
We understand that every system is unique and deserves special attention to identify the best interests of the patient and family during clinic and home visits.
We are fortunate to have the services of two dedicated psychiatric nurses that provide home based assessment and care based on patient needs.
We pride ourselves on relevant clinical information to determine the nature and degree of mental health or memory problems. We understand that complex disorders can be challenging.
